[Shortcode error (session_meta): Changing the Learning Landscape (708) (ID: 740, type: revision) is not a session.]
Description
The Changing the Learning Landscape programme was funded by HEFCE and involved ALT, HEA, Jisc and the NUS working under the overall guidance of the Leadership Foundation for HE. The programme has run for two years. The key principles of the scheme were that informed strategic leadership was required to change the learning landscape within an institution and that students must be involved in all such change as co-designers and co-creators. It was a first for the organisations involved working together. Over 70 English institutions took part (LFHE 2014).
The session will discuss from various points of view (partner, institution, consultant and student) the achievements of the initiative and the lessons learned through the initiative which could be of interest to other institutions involved in bringing about lasting strategic change in the area of Learning Technology.
The session will be of interest to those taking part or working towards strategic change, to those with an interest in involving students as equal partners in change, and to those who are just plain nosey about how on earth the 5 organisations managed to work together in an apparently frictionless fashion.
