Description
This framework was used to produce an online survey, which collected data to enable staff, schools and the Council to identify areas of priority around digital literacy professional development. The survey has run for two years, allowing staff and schools to work towards these priority areas, and the project team to capture comparative data. In September, the project will be in the final phase of evaluation, providing an opportunity to share key findings and lessons learnt.
Following an introduction to the project, the session will be largely practical, with attendees given the opportunity to interrogate the survey content around the Technology supported Professional Development strand. Attendees will be asked to consider the appropriateness of the content at each level, the transferability of the content in relation to other sectors (FE, HE, etc.) and how suited the content is to current practice in their institution.
The session will close with a summary of the key findings of the project and the lessons learnt, to support attendees in implementing their own approaches to raising staff digital literacy.
