Venue and Travel Information

The 2016 Annual Conference was held at the University of Warwick, with most of the conference programme taking place around the Arts Centre on the main campus, which is part of the Conference Park.

Travel to the University of Warwick

By Car

The address of the venue, for use with Sat Nav is University of Warwick, Coventry CV4 7AL. This will take you to the main road, Gibbet Hill Road, which runs through the university campus, and from here you will see signs to the Conference Park. Full driving instructions can be found on the Warwick Conferences website.

Car Parking

Please note: Anyone wishing to park on campus will need to register and download a permit. The permit is free but will need to be printed in advance and displayed in the windscreen of the vehicle. Upon arrival please use the conference car parks numbered 7, 8a, 8, 10 and 15 indicated on the interactive campus map.

By Train

The nearest station to the University is Coventry Station which has a regular bus service to the campus. Birmingham New Street and Birmingham International (for Birmingham Airport) are also within a reasonable taxi ride of the University and have good links to Coventry station. Please note that Warwick Station is further from the University than Coventry Station and has poorer connections. Delegates are advised to travel to Coventry Station if possible.

By Air

The closest airport to the University is Birmingham Airport which has links via rail to Coventry Station. All the London airports have links to Coventry via rail or National Express Coach, and are served by a wider range of international flights.
