The countdown … Highlights from our #altc co-chair Alex Moseley (@AlexM11)

With just under six weeks to go before ALTC opens its doors, as co-Chair my excitement is starting to mount.

It’s clear looking through the draft programme that many presenters have responded well to our call to ‘connect, create and collaborate’ – I’ve already noted several sessions I don’t want to miss. If you’ve registered to present or attend and want to get a bit more involved, you can now sign up to chair a session. You’ll also see that all six of our keynotes are now confirmed and positioned strategically across the three days, to provide a steady burst of creative and challenging thought!

As a programme team, we’re finalising details of the fantastic venue in Warwick. It’s a great all-inclusive campus space, and we’re working with the local team to use the spaces and facilities creatively.

I’ve heard rumours that we may see the return of a sinister presence during the conference; and that there might be things to encourage you to think creatively on your journey to, and time at, the conference: keep a look out on the @A_L_T Twitter channel, and #altc hashtag as September nears.

So, not long to go now. There is still time to register for the conference (registration closes 22nd August) and I hope to see you in Warwick. In the meantime, enjoy the Summer and patches of sun!
