Description
Large companies have been making use of interactive e-learning for staff training for years now. This job-aid takes the form of a colourful comic-book style poster with an interactive companion available (on the VLE) which provides further information of common scenarios.
The effectiveness of this learning object will be measured in three ways:
Usage: Tracking of the item in the VLE. Limitations of this measure are that the tracking in place is not very sophisticated. Only clicks are counted and it is not possible to record how long learners engaged with the learning object.
Reaction: A short survey will be sent to support staff to gauge if they reacted positively or negatively to the learning object.
Results: If the learning object has been successful it should result in fewer students being referred from the Student Centre to other departments to answer queries about access to the VLE.
This poster presentation will provide links to the interactive resource.
