Description
The outcomes of this enquiry indicated that students studying towards Interactive Media Development foundation degrees felt more prepared for the content of their active learning sessions through accessing the directed online learning resources on Lynda.com. The students reported greater engagement with the content and activities in the session and perceived greater levels of allegiance and collaboration with other group members. This indicates that a flipped learning approach in computing utilising pre-prepared online commercial resources such as Lynda.com has a positive impact on reported student engagement and collaboration.
