[Pre-Conference Event] Register for Robots and Code, Materials Innovation Factory, University of Liverpool

As part of its exciting public engagement programme HiPy and LivIDEA invite you to the second FREE Robots and Code event at the brand new Materials Innovation Factory at the University of Liverpool: September 4 from 4 – 7pm.

HiPy is a grassroots initiative led by volunteer students and researchers which aims to build a warm and welcoming community for anyone who wants to learn how to code. We will be providing a no-nonsense, absolute beginners introduction to Python, a hugely popular programming language which powers the likes of Google and YouTube.

LivIDEA, a pioneering enterprise from UoL will be providing a beginner’s introduction to Arduino – an open source platform for developing electronics projects. The LivIDEA team will walk you through building your first project and teams will have the opportunity to build and race robots using Arduino and your own smartphone!
