Description
The new educational technology competency framework is being developed from a teacher and trainer perspective with pedagogy at the forefront of the design. It builds on the research and existing programmes developed by ETF and Jisc – a not-for-profit organisation the provides digital solutions for UK education and research. Importantly, it will include pathways to meet the needs of teachers and trainers working in the SEND, offender learning, adult community learning and work-based learning sectors.
To help teachers and trainers to develop their digital competency, the framework will be accompanied by a comprehensive suite of online bite-sized training modules. These will be easy to access anywhere and at any time to support teachers and trainers with specific help and guidance as and when needed. A badged recognition and reward structure will promote usage.
This session will provide opportunities to share your views and highlight further opportunities to engage with the consultation http://www.sero.co.uk/etf-edtech/.
