We’re delighted to be returning to the University of Warwick for the 2023 Annual conference. Their bright modern spaces are perfect for learning, networking and immersing yourself in the buzz of our 30th Anniversary Event.

Getting there

Based in the heart of the UK and easily accessible from across the UK, and the world. The University of Warwick which lies on the outskirts of Coventry, 3 miles from the city centre.

The Oculus: Registration and all of the conference sessions will take place in The Oculus building. Find your way to The Oculus with the Interactive Map.

Travel by car: Easily accessible from many major routes: M1, M6, M5, M42, A5 and A14. The postcode is CV4 7AL. Parking is free of charge for conference attendees and within walking distance of the venue. Parking instructions will be sent to registered delegates nearer the conference.

Travel by bus: Regular buses from the University campus to Coventry city centre and rail station. The 11 and 12 bus routes both serve Warwick Conferences. You’ll need to have the right money as the bus drivers don’t give change. Both buses call at the Rail Station Bridge SD stop on Warwick Road – a one-minute walk from Coventry station. Taxis are freely available at the bus terminal too.

Travel by train: Coventry is on the West Coast Mainline and serviced by regular trains, 7 days a week. Coventry is served by trains from London Euston, Birmingham (New Street and International) and Leicester. From Coventry station, it’s easy to get a taxi or bus to campus.

Travel by plane: Birmingham International Airport is approximately 20 minutes away. A taxi to us from the airport will take about 20 minutes and cost around £30. Alternatively, you can take a direct train to Coventry from Birmingham International station which is located at the airport.

Accommodation

Tuesday and Wednesday night accommodation, in an en-suite room at Bluebell Halls of Residence, is included in the ‘3-day full residential’ package.

Accommodation on campus on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights can be booked via the registration form (as of 10 August). Accommodation is limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

For those with existing registrations, accommodation can be arranged on a first come, first served basis by contacting us.

Further hotel accommodation is available in Coventry city centre. Taxis are available and regular buses run to the campus. The nearest hotels to the University campus are the Premier Inn Coventry South (A45) and Village Hotel Coventry.
