The Thursday Night Show (TTNS) is an eclectic Internet radio platform with a cast of DJs from around the world. Every Thursday night since 2012, TTNS broadcasts live to your browser, wherever you are. This year, TTNS is partnering with ALT to provide a full parallel track of conference radio programming. Start your day feeling energised with a guided run around Warwick’s beautiful campus.

Meeting outside the Oculus Building at 07:00 on Tuesday 5 and Wednesday 6 September, our experienced guides will lead you on a conversational paced 5K route and have you back in time for breakfast.

After the sessions close at 17:15 Tuesday 5 September, join us for a soft drink or glass of wine in the Exhibition Hall to unwind and digest what you’ve learnt during the day’s packed programme.

Gala Dinner and Awards

18:30 Wednesday 6 September, The Slate

On Wednesday 6 September at 18:30 in The Slate, we will celebrate ALT’s 30th anniversary at the Gala Dinner and Awards presentation. Hosted in The Slate, a beautiful lakeside venue. This is a ticketed event but is included for all 3 day full residential package holders. Gala Dinner tickets are available to purchase.

VR Experience

Various times Tues 5, Weds 6 and Thurs 7 September, OC1.06

We are pleased to offer delegates opportunities, spread over the three days of the conference, to experience a range of immersive educational experiences. We will have a range of headsets on display with the opportunity to critically explore their pros and cons. These VR sessions will have something to try for new as well as established users of VR and AR headsets. Resources to include examples of teaching materials co-created with students, example teaching session guide templates and options for making VR teaching sessions accessible for those not comfortable with wearing, or otherwise unable to wear, VR headsets.

Networking
