The discount code will be shared with accepted speakers once the peer review outcomes have been sent and before the speaker registration deadline on Wednesday 29 July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are seeking proposals that focus on the following session themes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Doing, reflecting, improving, collaborating<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cultivating Collaboration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Partnerships are increasingly important, both internally and externally. That might be learners as partners, partnerships with vendors, or national and international partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What partnerships are you cultivating?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What lessons have you learned?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are you seeking new partnerships?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reviewing, Reflecting, Re-imagining<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Part of the learning cycle is to reflect, review, and re-imagine how we do things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>How do we effectively review, reflect and re-imagine our own work?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What achievements and challenges have you experienced?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What reflections do you have on digital learning \u2013 that might be approaches to learning, old and new \u2018tools\u2019 we\u2019re using well, or in different ways?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How do we (re-)imagine learning technology post-2024?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Inviting Improvement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What opportunities do we create for continuing professional development (CPD)?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How can we leverage the lifelong learning entitlement, digital badging, and digital literacies?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How do we develop ourselves and others through leadership and coaching?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How do we include both students and staff in these development opportunities?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How do we link this to continuous quality improvement in the learning and teaching we support?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Emerging research<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Research or case studies focused on learning technology and education practices. Papers submitted to this theme will be published in our Annual Conference 2024 proceedings. <a href=\"#EmergingResearch\" data-type=\"internal\" data-id=\"#EmergingResearch\">Find out more<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wildcard<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019ve got something else to shout about or a challenge for which you want input from others, this is your slot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Session formats<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Proposals may take any of the following session formats:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>60 minute workshop (an interactive and practical learning session)<br>30 minute research paper or case study<br>15 minute presentation<br>60 minute <a href=\"#altcRadio\" data-type=\"internal\" data-id=\"#altcRadio\">ALTC radio show<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><i class=\"fas fa-star\"><\/i> New for 2024<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"EmergingResearch\"><i class=\"fas fa-microscope\"><\/i> Emerging Research<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Abstracts for research papers are due by 12:00 BST Monday 20 May 2024.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Successful authors selected for presentation at the conference will be notified by Tuesday 18 June.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Papers must be submitted, as a Word document (not PDF), via email to <a href=\"mailto:conferences@alt.ac.uk\">conferences@alt.ac.uk<\/a> by Friday 9 August.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Speakers must have registered for the conference by Friday 9 August.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any feedback provided on the submitted abstract should be incorporated into the final research paper submission.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please follow the formatting in the supplied emerging research paper template below.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><a id=\"wp-block-file--media-7a3de1cd-d39f-43e1-a9a2-3904a5c9f3aa\" href=\"https:\/\/altc.alt.ac.uk\/2024\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1184\/2024\/05\/ALTC24-emerging-research-paper-template.docx\">ALTC24-emerging-research-paper-template<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/altc.alt.ac.uk\/2024\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1184\/2024\/05\/ALTC24-emerging-research-paper-template.docx\" class=\"wp-block-file__button wp-element-button\" download aria-describedby=\"wp-block-file--media-7a3de1cd-d39f-43e1-a9a2-3904a5c9f3aa\">Download<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The conference proceedings will be published by the Association for Learning Technology (ALT) and licensed under a <a href=\"http:\/\/creativecommons.org\/licenses\/by\/4.0\/\">Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"altcRadio\"><i class=\"fas fa-radio\"><\/i> 60 minute radio shows on ALTC Radio<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Are you an aspiring radio DJ, or just fancy contributing something a little different to the conference this year? This is your chance to grab one of our ALTC Radio slots. You\u2019ll have one hour to play your favourite tunes and chat about all things learning tech to both our onsite attendees and listeners around the globe.
