ALTC25 Revisited: Call for Proposals

Following the momentum of ALTC25, this online conference continues to explore what it means to create strong, adaptable, and inclusive digital foundations for education. As we navigate ongoing change and complexity, we return to the central question of how we build, and for whom.

ALTC25 invited us to imagine broader horizons grounded in robust practice. This event extends that work, offering space to reflect, reconnect, and renew our shared commitment to purposeful digital action. Together, we will consider how the principles of care, creativity, and collaboration can be embedded in our systems, our pedagogy, and our leadership.

From rethinking core digital infrastructure to designing with empathy, from strengthening pathways across sectors to nurturing imagination at the edges, this gathering invites educators, those working with learning tech, and leaders to share progress, insights, and possibilities.

As we look beyond the conference floor to the communities and contexts that shape our daily work, this event asks: how can we keep the conversation alive, deepen our practice, and continue building the foundations for a more connected and equitable digital future?

We are now seeking submissions for the following session formats:

  • 60 minute workshops – In-depth interactive sessions designed for group work and discussion
  • 30 minute interactive discussions – Facilitated ‘hot-topic’ discussions
  • 30 minute presentations – An informative session or update on a topic relevant to the conference theme
  • 15 minute digital poster sessions – Quickfire sessions, talking to a single slide.
