#altc Annual Conference registration is now open

The 21st annual conference (‘Riding Giants: How to innovate and educate ahead of the wave’) of the Association for Learning Technology (ALT) will take place from Monday 1st – Wednesday 3rd September 2014 at the University of Warwick in the UK.
ALT and our members organise this conference to help educators, researchers, learning technologists and policy-makers keep up with learning technology innovations, including those that work and those that don’t work.
Keynote speakers include: Catherine Cronin, Jeff Haywood, Christina Hughes and Audrey Watters. The conference will be co-chaired by Sarah Cornelius, Linda Creanor and Joe Wilson.
In addition, the conference will have a leadership and CPD day; a special policy session for Further Education, Adult Learning and Skills sectors; and a networking event for early career researchers.
We will also present this year’s Learning Technologist of the Year Awards (#LTaward) and Special Award for Learners. The awards rewards outstanding achievement in the learning technology field for individuals, teams. The awards are sponsored by the University of London Computer Centre (ULCC) and supported by Nesta.
To get a discount on conference fees, take advantage of the early bird registration which is valid until 30 June. ALT members get a 20% discount on all conference fees and non-members can save money if booking for the full conference by signing up for ALT membership during registration.
