Icepops bookings are open!

By the ALT CoOLSIG

We’re absolutely delighted to announce that the bookings for Icepops 2022 are now open. We’re running this as an in-person event, and keeping the size relatively small, so do hurry to book your ticket before they sell out if you would like to join us in beautiful Oxford. Our venue will be the Oxford University Museum of Natural History.

Our keynote speakers are confirmed as Dr Emily Hudson from Kings College, London, Dr Andrea Wallace, from the University of Exeter and Douglas McCarthy from the Europeana Foundation. Further details are available on the Icepops webpage but we expect an exciting programme including lightning talks and a world cafe from creators, librarians, educators, publishers and many more.

If you do wish to be part of the programme then our call for speakers is open until Monday 6th June. If you have an interesting approach to copyright education or have created a game or fun way of tackling copyright, why not join us as a speaker. All speakers will need to register for the day but qualify for a discounted rate.

We are also really pleased to be sponsored this year by: Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA), Educational Recording Agency (ERA), Printed Music Licensing Limited (PMLL), Talis, Association for Learning Technology (ALT) and Learning On Screen.
