The survey provides an important insight into how professional practice within the field of Learning Technology is developing. The purpose of this survey is to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Help map professional practice and development in Learning Technology;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chart how Learning Technology is used across sectors;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understand current practice to better meet the needs of and represent our Members.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Annual Survey also helps ALT with monitor and report on equality, diversity and inclusion and helps us understand if different groups are facing different issues getting involved in ALT and to better support different groups of respondents. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The closing date for responses is 22 February 2024 . <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/zSbi6mTRvTZZUNoq5\">Complete the 2024 survey now<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">OER24<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Plans for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oer2024.co.uk\/\">OER24<\/a> are shaping up brilliantly thanks to the work of our Co-Chairs Dr Gear\u00f3id \u00d3 S\u00failleabh\u00e1in and Dr Tom Farrelly and the Conference Committee. We are really looking forward to welcoming delegates to beautiful Cork, 27-28 March. The conference has two fantastic keynotes from Dr Rajiv Jhangiani and Dr Catherine Cronin and Professor Laura Czerniewicz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is still time to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oer2024.co.uk\/#\">view the programme and register<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The return of our CPD Webinars series<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We are excited to bring back our very popular CPD Webinar series this year. CPD Webinars are open to ALT Members and aim to be as practical as possible. We already have a fantastic lineup announced with more to come! <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alt.ac.uk\/events?event_type=18\">Register for CPD Webinars on our website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Copyright Essentials for Learning Technologists &#8211; Tuesday 30 April 2024, 12pm &#8211; 1pm<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Moving Away from SCORM: Using Metrics that Matter &#8211; Thursday 30 May 2024 2pm &#8211; 3pm<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CPD Webinar Series 2024: Adoption of Graduate Attributes through the use of Badges &#8211; Tuesday 25 June 2024, 1-2pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New events planned for 2024<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We have a number of new day and half-day events planned for 2024 as well as one hour online webinars. We&#8217;re excited to offer our Members more ways to network and share practice this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Join our new CMALT Committee<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In response to the growing number of Certified Members and CMALT Assessors, we will  launch a new CMALT Committee in 2024. It is vital for ALT&#8217;s activities to be shaped with the input of ALT&#8217;s Members and CMALT will be no different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The committee will contribute to the improvement of the CMALT accreditation scheme and assessment process, and we are currently looking for Members to form this committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Read the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alt.ac.uk\/news\/all_news\/call-get-involved-join-alt%E2%80%99s-cmalt-committee\">CMALT Committee call<\/a> for more information on eligibility, the Terms of Reference for the committee and to express your interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">#ALTC Blog Editors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our #altc Blog publishes a wide range of posts and articles, including news, opinion pieces, project updates, case studies, book reviews, and \u2018a week in the life\u2019 summaries of the work of people in the Learning Technology field.
