We now provide access to expertise to a much wider community of digital practitioners. We work hard to champion professional recognition for a growing range of Learning Technology roles and we inform and support institution leaders engaging with digital education. Following the initial period of establishing the working group and holding regular meetings, we have now collected input and feedback which will inform the next phase of work.\u00a0Our working group now has 85+ members including learners and representation from industry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the next six months, we will draft, consult on and the finalise the framework and tools for launch at the Annual Conference in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alt.ac.uk\/news\/all_news\/making-progress-alts-ethical-framework-learning-technology\">an overview<\/a> of the key dates and activities as well as an indication of what outputs we are aiming to create and this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessandindustry.co.uk\/education-technology\/setting-standards-for-ethical-professional-practice-in-edtech\/?utm_source=AssociationofLearningTechnology-distro&amp;utm_medium=assoc\">recent article<\/a> offers further commentary. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.alt.ac.uk\/sites\/alt.ac.uk\/files\/styles\/large\/public\/Dr%20Maren%20Deepwell%20-%20Association%20for%20Learning%20Technology.jpg?ssl=1\" alt=\"\" \/><figcaption>b<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">In other news #altc<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I also wish to draw Members attention to much progress all around our community, as we approach this year&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/oer21.oerconf.org\/\">OERxDomains Conference<\/a>. It was my pleasure to attend Friday&#8217;s launch of ALT&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ALTCoOLSIG\">newest SIG<\/a> along with over 80 Members and supported by Debbie Baff.
