OER22 will be the first hybrid edition of this much-loved event, taking place over three days, 26-28 April 2022. The first day of the event will take place in London, UK, and the second and third day of the event will take place online.

What does the registration fee include?

The full three day programme will feature speakers from across sectors and bring together experts to discuss the most urgent questions facing institutions and individuals as they scale up the use of technology for learning, teaching and assessment. The conference will put the spotlight on both the value and limitations of Open Education in a (post)pandemic world.  This year’s themes include; Pedagogy in a time of crisis, Open textbook, Open in Action, Open research and Wildcard proposals.

Online Only registration includes;

  • Pre-conference orientation sessions
  • Access to live and asynchronous sessions online (online only tickets include asynchronous access to the in person keynote sessions only)
  • Social programme
  • Opt-in participant list for networking
  • Recordings and session materials post conference

Online and In Person (Registration closed 14th April 2022)

In Person registration includes all of the above plus; 

  • Social events on the Monday and Tuesday evening
  • Collaborative and interactive sessions
  • Keynote and parallel sessions on the day

Scholarship support

The conference will be a paid for event but potential delegates are invited to apply for a scholarship place in order to remove any barrier to participation. This can be for in person and online attendance, or online only. Please note that scholarship places cover the cost of a ticket to the conference but delegates will need to arrange their own travel and accommodation.

Cancellation policy

Online and In Person – Cancellations made in writing on or before 22 March 2022 will be eligible for a full refund minus a £25 cancellation fee. Cancellations made after 22 March 2022 will not receive a refund. Substitutions are allowed if made in writing (email enquiries@alt.ac.uk) before 4 April 2022

Online Only – Cancellations made in writing on or before 29 March 2022 will be eligible for a full refund minus a £25 cancellation fee. Cancellations made after 29 March 2022 will not receive a refund. Substitutions are allowed if made in writing (email enquiries@alt.ac.uk) before 11 April 2022
