Top tips for participation

We’ve prepared some tips for getting the most out of your online conference experience at https://altc.alt.ac.uk/online2015/help/tips-for-participation/. As the conference goes on you can take time out to chat with friends and new acquaintances in our Virtual Cafe: http://go.alt.ac.uk/ALT-Online-2015-Cafe. Also don’t forget to tune in to the introductory and closing sessions each day.

Webinars

Webinars will take place in Blackboard Collaborate. Even if you are familiar with Blackboard, it is important that you check in advance that your system and connection are capable of handling a session, and that you have the (small) Blackboard Collaborate client successfully installed. For full guidance please see the FAQs at https://altc.alt.ac.uk/online2015/help/using-blackboard-collaborate/

Tweet Chats

Tweetchats will be led by presenters. The hashtag for tweetchats will be included on the session page and also announced from the @A_L_T account with the #altc hashtag.
