Description
Building the digital capability of learners and staff is critical for universities, colleges and the skills sector. Effective use of digital technology by staff is vital in providing a compelling student experience and in realising a good return on investment in technology.
The session will look at the expectations of students in regard to digital technologies. How should institutions respond to students’ changing expectations? Staff having the appropriate understanding and approach to digital technologies. This webinar will look at the issues around the digital capability and digital students. It will also look at the work being undertaken by Jisc R&D into building digital capability and the digital student.
The webinar session will present current findings from two Jisc R&D and ask delegates through a series of activities and questions how they are addressing digital capability.
