Description
This presentation will consist of a live link up to the Winter meeting of the ALT Regional Interest Group for the East Midlands (EMLT), at De Montfort University. It will provide participants with an opportunity to hear from members, across the region, talking about the use of technology to support assessment. These short presentations will provide an insight into the way technology can support a wide range of assessment practices and subject areas. Within the 30 minute session we hope to see at least 2 examples from the group with opportunities to ask questions to the presenters via text chat facilities. Additional recordings of other presentations from the day will be available via the EMLT blog at https://eastmidslt.wordpress.com/.
The artifact linked to this presentation allows attendees to contribute to a Padlet wall which explores the criteria used to evaluate the suitability of a technology to support either summative or formative assessment. This artifact will then be used within the EMLT meeting to generate discussion about the importance of the criteria in different learning and teaching scenarios.
Proposed Artifact: Padlet wall asking participant to reflect upon the criteria the use to evaluate technology for assessment (summative and formative).
