Description
Ask people “what is the critical issue that enables staff to engage with learning technologies”,what comes up time and time again is that of time.
This session will look at the issue of time. Why is it that time is still considered a limiting factor when it comes to staff engaging in the use of learning technology?
Time is fixed and we don’t have time machines!
So what do we do?
Well I don’t have a dog.
Can time really be the issue, isn’t it this about priorities?
Technology can help save time, we do this already. Driving saves us having to walk, services such as iPlayer allows us to time-shift watching TV.
This twitter chat will ask participants to reflect on the blog post, how technology can provide efficiencies, the importance of strategic vision in setting priorities and how time is one of personal choice.
The session will also consider the core question of why I don’t have a dog and the importance of this question to the embedding and embracing of learning technologies.
