Description
In this 60-minute editing session, you will be invited to craft a blog post, video, podcast, illustration, or creative storytelling solution of your choice to tell a story about how you came to be involved in the open (education, access, data, source, other?) movement. Facilitators can add you directly to the 101OpenStories.org WordPress site to build a post, or you can work in the space of your choice (Google Docs, YouTube, Blog site, etc.). Once work is complete, please share a link with the facilitators, or use the Twitter hashtag #101OpenStories to celebrate! Stories will be gathered and re-published on the 101OpenStories.org WordPress site after the session.
Any type of story that celebrates the #YearOfOpen is most welcome. You don’t have to limit your imagination to personal journeys. Stories in languages other than English are definitely desired, multiple stories would be fantastic.
The facilitation team has been collecting stories since OEGlobal in March 2017 and will be building a Pressbooks edition of the stories (where the type of content makes sense). After some final formatting, the Pressbooks edition will be available digitally to you and open audiences in time for OE Global 2018. Both the 101OpenStories.org website and the Pressbooks edition of stories will be licensed using a CC BY 4.0 International license.
Online Facilitators will be: Penny Bentley, Jenni Hayman, Chrissi Nerantzi, Judith Pete, and Viviane Vladimirschi
