Description
This webinar will introduce participants to the concept of an ‘unconference’ – a participant driven conference that aims to maximise professional learning and collaboration. The benefits of this high energy and flexible approach in the field of educational technology will be outlined and excepts from prior unconferences will be presented.
The webinar will then discuss the planning undertaken for a forthcoming eportfolio unconference and the rationale for this type of approach. The rules and facilitation styles for an effective and productive unconference will also be shared. The upcoming eportfolio unconference will feature a number of online tools to support planning, communication and collaboration and these will be showcased.
By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to design their own unconference to foster peer to peer learning, collaboration and creativity.
