Description
In this storytelling workshop we will collaboratively produce a podcast script which looks at the way edutech might problem-solve in a future world.
Delegates will co-create aspects of a dystopian or utopian future in small groups. Using the power of chance to inspire imagination we will then be randomly allocated a ‘problem’ card and an ‘edu-tech’ card. Together, we will use our creative imagination along with narrative theory (Todorov, 1969) to see how edu-tech might develop to solve our future problems.
The session will use video conferencing and a shared google document. If time allows we will record the podcast with delegates, to edit and share following the session.
The session will be led by Keith Temple and Sarah-Jane Crowson. Keith is Short Film Media B.A. (Hons) course leader at Hereford College of Arts (HCA), and previously scriptwriter for a range of TV shows, including Doctor Who. Sarah-Jane Crowson is Scholarship and Enterprise Development Manager at HCA. She uses poetry to unlock ideas and support learning in creative education.
