Short Bio

Teresa is an award winning language teacher with over 30 years of experience. She is a Certified Member of the Association for Learning Technology and was recently awarded an Honorary Life membership of the Association.  She is based at Warwick University, UK. She researches and designs to find solutions supporting student-centred pedagogy and is an open educational practitioner. She innovates through produsage and is a certified Creative Commons educator. She curates professional development resources for language tutors and is resident on twitter as @warwicklanguage. She initiated an assessed e-portfolio for language learners with international colleagues at Warwick’s Language Centre and 100% e-portfolio assessment for final year students interested in teaching as a career. An active advocate of open recognition, her international profile sees her currently involved in the EVOLVE project and the Erasmus Plus Virtual Exchange initiative supporting the mainstreaming of virtual exchange.
