Puiyin Wong
Puiyin has worked in many areas in Higher Education for over 14 years, including in the library, as a learning advisor, as a digital media technician and teaching creative software. Currently, she is a TEL Coordinator at London College of Communication, University of the Arts London and a TEL Officer at King’s College London.
When Puiyin was at art school, she was always curious about how learning technologies could help her to acquire knowledge and skills she was interested in, to help advance her practice. She has since carried this curiosity and passion into her roles in Higher Education, with a particular interest in student engagement, peer learning and collaboration.
Puiyin is very much looking forward to starting her PhD in E-Research and TEL at Lancaster University in January 2021. She hopes to dedicate her academic research in how learning technologies can support or hinder (if used without consideration) student’s learning experience, particularly but not exclusively in arts education.
