Kia ora and hello from Aotearoa/New Zealand. I am an academic specialising in educational/curriculum development at the University of Auckland. My work and doctoral research focus on building capacity for teaching with technologies, drawing on my own experiences as a student and creator/facilitator of postgraduate courses. I first got acquainted with the ELESIG community when visiting Liverpool and John Moores Universities in 2017, presenting – on open learning and networks – at their regional event for the wider Manchester area. I have led and/or managed a wide range of projects: experimenting with new tools and techniques and actively evaluating, researching contemporary issues in higher education. The advantages of being involved in ELESIG is becoming aware of good practice across different contexts and potential collaborative opportunities around key projects on student experiences such Technologies for Equitable Learning Opportunities & Design and Impact of Online Learning on Students during a Pandemic. I look forward to engaging and learning with you all.
