with Martin Poulter
As Jorum repository is set to retire in September 2016 (http://www.jorum.ac.uk/retirement/). Martin Poulter considers whether Wikimedia has a role in Open Education and can be used in ways not previously considered – part repository, part VLE, part academic publishing and collaboration. Is there an opportunity here to move more into Wikimedia? Can Wikimedia take up some of these roles?
Dr Martin Poulter is the ICT Manager for the Economics Network based at the University of Bristol. He has worked as the Wikimedia Ambassador for Jisc and as the Wikimedian In Residence at the Bodleian Libraries and this summer was named UK Wikimedian of the Year.
