Hi Martin, thanks for sending the new link. I have downloaded the .collab file but i’m unable to open it. Do I need to download something else for this to work?
there should be an option to install the launcher required for the old version of collaborate https://help.blackboard.com/Collaborate/v12/Administrator/The_Blackboard_Collaborate_Launcher (link for launcher should be in the window when you try and access the session)
Having the same problem – can see no options anywhere to download or install a launcher, and in any case, on campus we can’t install anything without hassling our IT Services team for about half a day… I sort of thought this was all going to be in-browser 🙁
Sorry Martin, we can’t find any way of downloading it via the link or instructions provided. At the moment we are considering screen recording the session and then sharing it online.

Sorry @gmcampey missed this during the day – after this session we were able to revert to our original plan of Collaborate Ultra which is browser based (no plugins). I hope you got a chance to see some sessions today, if not hope you can join us tomorrow when hopefully we won’t experience the say technical issues
Martin … new link has ALT as user name … could that be causing “User already in session” error that I’m seeing?
