Joining instructions

We look forward to welcoming you to OER23, 4-6 April 2023. With over 150 participants from over 15 countries taking part in person and online, we want to make sure that you enjoy this hybrid event. Have a fantastic OER23 conference!

Before the event

Our programme and social space in Discord are your base, so please ensure you can login to both before the day.

Attending in person 

The conference will take place at UHI Inverness, Main Campus, 1 Inverness Campus, Inverness, IV2 5NA. Visit our travel and accommodation page for full information on how to get to the venue and a useful conference map. 

Attending online 

For those delegates attending online only, we have welcome chats in Discord, synchronous (live) sessions and recordings from on-site sessions.

Support for Speakers

Conference staff will be available in all rooms at the start of your session to help you get set up. Be prepared with your presentation on a USB storage device or online storage platform you can log in to (e.g. Dropbox). For further guidance for speakers , please check out our How to guides where you will find all the details needed.

OER23 is a Hybrid Conference: Access our Online Event Platform and sessions

We are proud to be partnering with Kaltura at OER23 and trialling their virtual events platform. In-person sessions will be recorded, where permitted, and made available on the online platform as soon as possible once the events are finished. 

Please remember to check your set-up before the event.
