Call for nominations for a new Vice-Chair and two new Trustees for ALT

If you are a member of ALT and would like to take a more active role in the governance of the Association, then you should consider standing for election either as Vice-Chair or Trustee. Trustees work together on the Central Executive Committee to ensure that the vision and aims set out in ALT’s strategy are being met and that the Association serves and represents its members.

This year we are running a webinar with current Trustees who will share their experiences of what serving on ALT’s Central Executive Committee is like and why they chose to become involved.

The webinar will take place on 22 May 2014 (12:30 – 1:30) and is open to all. Doug Gowan, Vice-Chair, Shirley Evans, Trustee and Chair of the Membership Development Committee and other Trustees will lead the session and answer your questions.

All nominations should arrive by 5pm on Friday 6 June 2014.

The result of the election will be announced at the AGM on 2 September and newly elected Trustees will begin their term on this date.
