On 6th February 2014, we launched the new strategy for the Association for 2014-2017.
The strategy sets out our shared vision for developing the Association as an influential, innovative and independent membership organisation, clearly defining our aims for the next three years.
The strategy also articulates our values as a community of practitioners, researchers and policy makers, values that define who we are and how we work together. It is the result of active consultation with our members, the wider community and stakeholders .
President of ALT, Claire Donlan said:
“The new strategy outlines the aims and ambitions of ALT as a relevant force in the global development of Learning Technologies”.
Together with six strategic aims, the strategy also articulates the core values of the community of members the Association serves.
ALT Chief Executive, Maren Deepwell said:
“I think the new strategy will be essential to helping us meet some big challenges ahead. As the Association and its community grow, we need to be become better at innovation, at using technology ourselves to allow us to scale what we do and how we do it”.
ALT Trustee, Matt Lingard said:
“The development of our three-year strategy has been a collaborative process carried out in consultation with our members and the wider learning technology community. We felt this was extremely important and feel confident that our strategy reflects our community’s priorities as well as our own as Trustees.” .
