Location: Warwick University, Experimental Teaching Space, The Library, Gibbet Hill Road, Coventry, CV47AL. View Map

As a convergence of both digital and critical literacies, critical digital literacy examines how digital contexts shape ways of thinking, knowledge, identities, social relations, and formations in ways that often privilege some and marginalize others. It equips learners with the tools to examine the linguistic and non-linguistic features of digital media, to identify their embedded biases and assumptions, in order to better inform their activities and judgments (Darwin, 2017).

We invite participants to propose presentations or discussion / practical activities around any aspect of critical digital literacies e.g. e-portfolio use. reflective practice, open educational practice. If you are interested in proposing a presentation/activity, please email Kerry Pinny or John Couperthwaite to express an interest.

Places are limited so please book now to avoid disappointment.

We look forward to seeing you there, best wishes,

Lynne
